Your Role as Technical Solutions Engineer

As a Technical Solutions Engineer (IoT & Sustainability), you will be the technical point of contact within our commercial and operational processes. You support colleagues, partners, and customers with expert advice and ensure that technical solutions align with practical application. In this hybrid role, based in our Utrecht office or from home, you will work closely with sales, installation partners, and suppliers to strengthen iqbi’s reputation as an innovative partner in energy data and ESG solutions.

What will you do?

In this versatile role, you combine technical insight with an advisory mindset. You monitor the quality and feasibility of our solutions from the initial customer inquiry through to implementation. Your tasks include:

• Technical Advice & Solutions: You translate customer needs into feasible technical specifications and solutions. You visit project sites to assess the situation on-site.
• Sales Support: You support the sales team in convincing customers by giving presentations and demonstrations of our products. Additionally, you prepare (technical) quotes, including cost-benefit analyses.
• Knowledge & Training: You have in-depth product knowledge and share it by providing training to internal teams and partners. You also research new hardware solutions.
• Process & Management: You are responsible for a streamlined procurement process and inventory management. Furthermore, you collect customer feedback to continuously improve our products.

Who are you?

You take initiative, think ahead, and oversee both technology and context. You switch smoothly between different stakeholders and know how to explain complex matters clearly. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Technical & Commercial: You combine analytical skills and practical knowledge of hardware and software integrations with the insight to convert this into solutions.
• Electrotechnical Knowledge: Do you have specific knowledge of or experience with electrical engineering? That is a strong advantage for this position.
• Strong Communicator: You are transparent, reliable, and client-focused in your advice.
• Organized: You effortlessly maintain an overview of multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive: You take ownership of quality and customer satisfaction and proactively keep colleagues informed of progress and risks.
• Location: You are willing to travel occasionally to customers, partners, and events both domestically and abroad.
• Languages: You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.

• A salary ranging from €3,000 to €4,500 (depending on experience).
